Focusing on the Family
Being a parent is filled with joy and laughter, but also filled with unanswered questions in an uncharted territory. On the road of parenthood, families will always be surprised by unexpected situations and challenges. I've learned that parents will go to extraordinary lengths to secure happiness and stability for their child. Part of that trajectory is, however, focusing also on the family, in addition to meeting the child's needs.
As a trained child and family therapist, I see each family member as part of a system in which feelings, emotions, behaviors, and interactions affect one another. I love working with families and witnessing the healing and growth of all members.
